My Calzone

Hey guys here with my fifth official blog. Im here to tell you about my experience with my very own calzone. It was during the summer, it was a very sunny day, and I had my friend over, we chilled all day together. So my mom tells me there’s nothing to make and where not going to McDonald’s or any other fast food. I love McDonald’s. So I suggested to my mom that we should have pizza but my friend looks at me and says we should have calzones, at the time I thought that he was a genius cause I love calzones cause there like huge pizza pockets. (Boy im hungry now!) Im pretty sure your hungry now too. So my mom agreed that we would make calzones in the oven. She told us to go and so ingredients in the fridge, for the inside of the calzone. I found some hot dogs, kabassa and some mozzarella cheese and other meat and cheeses. I was amazed of all the stuff I found in the fridge. What would you put in your calzone? Later after I took all are calzones out of the oven, we all looked at are calzones and said were not eating this. So I got to go McDonald’s. Yay me. Have a Yummy day.

  1. Hey nick :)
So Calzones sound really good :) It sounds like there kinda like panzarattis, or however you spell it? I like how you told us the stuff you put it in, but I have a question. What do you use for the breading? Can you make your own dough? Or can you use pita bread? Can you let me know :)
    Thanks

  2. Hey katie for starters a calzone is baked and a panzoratti is fried. For my breading I used my own bread, and yes you can make your own bread but you need a good recipe and for the recipe you can use my nonna pizza's bread but stop at the part where you let it sit. I bet you could use pita bread but it would be to thin so you would have to make it thick. Have a yummy day Katie.

  4. I'm not really sure about on your question of how long you bake it but after you make the bread and put all your ingredients in the oven and you have the right temperature you should wait until it gets golden brown. Don't worry about all the questions cause that’s what im here for.
